Mercato is a Gem! It’s cozy, BYOB, with excellent food and to top it off the wait staff is amazing! The staff were friendly, jovial, and truly patient. Everything was so extremely personable. So my wife and I decided to try this on a whim as it's a couple of blocks from the apartment but it will now be a constant in our rotation. The appetizers were incredible (recommend the mushroom and goat cheese toast) and the housemade focaccia comes with a massive side of specialty butter. My only wish is that the pan seared rainbow trout (sitting atop a lump crab-meat orzo in a radish puree) was always on the menu instead of a special. Will be back soon!
