Strawberry Shortcake
I cup milk
1/2 cup butter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flower
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pint strawberries
Bring milk and butter to a boil. Beat eggs until light and fluffy then add sugar, vanilla and flower (in increments) in a bowl. Drizzle in hot milk mixture; add baking powder. Pour into a greased bundt pan with flat sides. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees. Cool, then turn out cake. Sprinkle 3 Tbs sugar over strawberries(Stems removed and cut into chunks) and chill. Cut cake into chunks and spoon on strawberries and whipped cream.
